A doula is a trained, non-medical labor support person who provides prenatal, delivery and postpartum support and assistance.  Birth is a normal, natural process and having consistent guidance, comfort and coping measures throughout your birth has not only been clinically proven, but also time tested, to decrease the rates of interventions and cesaeran sections, increasing safe and natural births. Nieve combines her extensive knowledge of the birthing process with acupuncture to provide comprehensive labor support, this includes utilizing powerful acupuncture/acupressure points to assist the labor process, provide pain management, and support the women's constitution.
